Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BookEasely (the "Service"), provided by BookEasely ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information when you sign up and to keep that information current. You are responsible for keeping your phone number and account secure, and for all activity under your account.

2. The Service

BookEasely is a marketplace that lets clients discover local businesses and book appointments with them. Businesses ("Business Owners") list services, workers and availability; clients ("Clients") browse, book and review.

BookEasely is a platform. We do not own, operate, employ or supervise the businesses listed on the Service. Each booking is a contract between the Client and the Business Owner; we are not a party to it.

3. Bookings, cancellations and no-shows

  • Bookings are confirmed when both the Client and the Business Owner accept the appointment in the platform.
  • Cancellation, rescheduling and no-show rules are set by each Business Owner and shown on their profile. Clients agree to those rules when booking.
  • BookEasely may mark a booking as cancelled or no-show in line with the Business Owner's policy.

4. Payments

Payments for services booked through BookEasely are currently handled directly between the Client and the Business Owner, unless stated otherwise on a specific booking. BookEasely does not currently process payments and does not collect or hold funds on behalf of Business Owners.

5. Business Owner obligations

If you list a business on BookEasely, you represent and warrant that:

  • You have the right to operate the business and to list every service and worker you add.
  • Your listings, prices and availability are accurate and kept up to date.
  • You will honour confirmed bookings or cancel them within a reasonable time, and you will treat Clients fairly and lawfully.
  • You will only invite workers who have agreed to be added to your business.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, harassing or fraudulent purposes.
  • Submit false reviews, impersonate someone else, or attempt to manipulate ratings.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, overload or interfere with the Service or its security features.
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited messages or to collect personal data about other users beyond what is necessary to fulfill a booking.

7. Communications and SMS

By providing your phone number you consent to receive transactional messages about your account and bookings (one-time passwords, confirmations, reminders, status changes). Standard message and data rates may apply. You can manage promotional notifications from your account settings; some account-critical messages cannot be turned off without closing your account.

8. Reviews and content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (reviews, photos, business information). By submitting content you grant BookEasely a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, display and distribute that content as part of operating and promoting the Service. You are responsible for the content you post and we may remove content that violates these Terms.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logos and trademarks, is owned by BookEasely and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account from the settings page or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your account creates risk for us or other users, or if we are required to do so by law.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific business will accept or honour a booking.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BookEasely will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) USD 100.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold BookEasely harmless from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you in the Service or by SMS. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which BookEasely is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence say otherwise.
